Vanlife – The Little Touches

To make a van a home, I have added a few little touches to make our camper homelier, which makes all the difference.

After moving into our van full time, I’ve slowly added more things that I’ve made, or bought along the way, and I thought I would share them below.

Some of the items I have made are also available to buy in my shop, so if you’re interested or if you would like to request a custom made wall hanging click the link here:

I’ve always been a huge fan (pardon the pun) on adding greenery indoors.
I love my little cacti plants and my vase is always a great way of adding wild flowers or in this case a palm leaf fan.
My Stay Wild Banners hanging proud. You can get one for your van // home here:
I made Luke this macramé ukulele holder which works perfectly for our van, and helps to keep it safe when we travel around.

Next to it is my ‘Adventure “awaits banners, which you can buy here:

And my woven wall hanging which I love and can’t seem to take down, is for sale here:
I made a macramé bunting to hide our curtain pole and make the space soft and cozy from all the metal. I think this works wonders, and was so fun to make.
I’d love to have the time to make more for my shop.
If you’d be interested in one, let me know 🙂
All the little touches
We bought our whicker baskets to hold our fruit and veg, which we picked up from Ikea, along with the spice racks and wooden hooks.
These have all been so handy in our small living space.
I love these hand made touches. All made with love <3
After being in the European summer heat, we added these fans above our heads to keep us cool. These have been a huge help, and i’m so glad we added them.
A closer look at my macramé bunting, hiding all the metal bits.
I couldn’t go traveling without a map of Europe to help guide as on our journey.

* Top Tip!! Buy some handy magnet clips, they are so handy to hang things from including; photos, maps, or sometimes I hang my bikinis to dry after a dip in the sea.
I love our fruit and veg baskets
Being vegan, I needed a decent space to keep fresh fruit and veggies 🙂

Happy days guys 🙂
